guest- they don't talk about the bad ones because they want people to feel safe! if a cop says, "don't worry we have everything under control, you're perfectly safe- I mean this same situation happened a while ago and other cops shot a tonne of people, but don't worry." NO. you wouldn't. when it comes to bad cop stories- people don't realize how few they actually are in comparison to the majority of GOOD things they do- but of course, the media doesn't show you that. they only show you the failures.

I feel both. my dad is a cop- the only paranoia I have is that I always imagine he's sent somebody to spy on me wherever I go. But other than that, feel totally protected

so a guy says he's been friendzoned and the response is: "there is no such thing as the friendzone" and he is labelled a dick. but girls can be friendzoned? that is just confusing

that's the kind of model where I can look at her and think, "you know what- I like that, and it's achievable."

let us make one thing clear. when a race or religion has physical features that they are known for- e.g. black skin, clothing etc- to point out that they are in fact that race or religion is not racist. it is acknowledging somebody's skin colour or religion. racism is to be hateful of somebody BECAUSE of their ethnicity. there's a fine bloody line.

Why doesn't the media show this? 59 comments

here in the UK- civilians mostly don't have guns or access to guns. the police do not use guns unless necessary. I don't think you can say it's better for police to have guns when everybody is complaining about how civilians are getting shot by police in America. We don't have as many school shootings or police shootings because we don't jump straight to guns here. The police here have batons and tasers- they can subdue a criminal with a smaller possibility of fatally wounding them. Trust me, we still have guns on hand. my dad is a firearms instructor.

in that case, to be upset is 100% understandable. it just bugs me when you get people who just complain about how bad the police are online. It doesn't spread a good message. My dad is a cop so I've always been pretty secure about my faith in the British police. But in America it just seems to be getting out of hand- it's like it's worse to be a cop than a criminal

I think it's possible to be born with more triats of the opposite gender- but actually acting upon them and deciding "I prefer girls" or "I prefer guys" then I agree I think is a choice

Art then and now 15 comments

I personally hate what is considered art now in a lot of cases. I'm sorry but I don't think a white canvas with a square in the corner is art.

yeah of course. I was born in the year 2000 so obviously I would watch an episode of Looney Tunes and then try to stuff my brother with TNT. Because I wasn't born in the 90s.

part of the reason sexism is still around is because people point it out at every turn. I like to refer to these people as 'drama-stirrers'. Oh look, there's one now under the anonymous title of 'guest'!
