except you evidently CAN'T deal with them without feeling the need to reflect negativity about it. DEALING with it is saying, "I don't really get it/like it, but eh, whatevs". saying, "they're an abomination." isn't dealing. it's an opinion, yes, but one that was completely pointless to be said considering you must have known that the majority of people would turn on you. why do people do that? I get the whole, "Freedom of opinion" thing, but why bother when you KNOW people are going to have a go at you? it doesn't prove anything, often just makes you look like a dick.

I don't think it's a matter that kids are told it's okay. It's mainly, from what I see, that they're told that it doesn't matter if somebody else, or you yourself, are obese- and that you should be proud of your body either way. That is a good moral, but they don't get told how to FIX the problem

My dad's in the police, so I always feel like he's sent people to check up on me whenever I'm out with friends...different to most people but still paranoid xD

I think it depends on the circumstances really. I would always say it's the mother's choice as she's the one who'll have to take on that responsibity- but overall, I think if she was raped, she might die, she was too young or the baby had a disability (not saying that disabled people should be aborted. but if it's a severe one and she feels she wouldn't be able to cope or feels that it wouldn't have a good life, it's her choice). But I think that if a woman comes to the doctor with, "It was a mistake." more than once and the baby is perfectly healthy, then-and only then, would I be a bit like, "....um..."

used to have a blockbuster round the corner, till Morrisons bought it >:( I can no longer just run round to get a film for the evening- oh no, I must now walk about 20 minutes into town and then walk 20 minutes to get back.
