That's why I'm annoyed, in the books another girl gave Katniss the pin for luck. In the movie Katniss gives it to Prim for good luck, but Prim gets drawn. She then proceeds to give it back to Katniss for luck but that makes no sense because, in this case, it's already proven to give bad luck because Prim, of all people, got drawn.

They were both great and unique films, just because the characters sorta resembled each other doesn't mean that either one of them copied the other. The plots were really different and the movies had different messages.
