I had just come off of the Matterhorn at Disneyland when the larger one on Friday night came and all of the lights and carts were shaking it was pretty awesome. I guess the people on the Matterhorn when it happened got stuck on so we lucked out

I've never had this happen and I'm from Southern California. when it rains or hails you still do PE and everything (just inside). it doesn't snow here either

I don't know why your comment has dislikes because you're right. There have been so many instances where people are told they're going to die but end up carrying on anyways, nothing is guaranteed.

I'm not talking about possibly fatal ailments, I'm just saying you're not giving infants a fair chance at life. Also, there are many people and infants alike that will have diseases or complications believed to be fatal who get by. And when I mentioned Stephen hawking I was simply pointing out that he had complications but still managed to do remarkable things.
Edit: Btw thank you confederacy!

this is bs. my best friend was born with heart problems and they weren't sure if she was going to live. if they had euthanized her then they would be giving up on her ever getting better. should we euthanize old people so they don't suffer? what about Stephen hawking? there are so many people who do wonderful things regardless if their disabilities. this is judging people by their disabilities and not letting them get a fair chance at life because of this. whoever wrote this has no idea what the hell they are talking about. truly living is breaking past the limits and standards society holds against you

This is not a judge on past performances, this is a judge of one's job in a single film so using dicaprio's other performances for reasons he should have won is ridiculous

To the people who say disney princess movies didn't have morals:
Cinderella- looked past what she had and was happy and followed her dreams
Sleeping beauty- was innocent and spread joy and her prince proved how love conquers all
Snow White- was selfless and kind
Beauty and the beast- both put others before themselves and belle was not afraid to be different
Ariel- was willing to risk leaving all she had ever known to find love and happiness
Aladdin and jasmine- were themselves regardless of what was expected
Pocahontas- broke past boundaries to save an innocent life and gave up her own happiness to help her people
Mulan- was willing to sacrifice herself to save her father, broke rules to do what she believed was right, never gave up, and was ahead of her time
Tiana- was willing to give up her own dreams to be with the one she loved and had a very strong work ethic
(I know I missed a few)
Never say that just because disney movies weren't completely realistic or stood up to

I love all disney movies and do not see a reason to discriminate against them purely because they do not share the same purposes. I like watching movies because it's like living in a day dream where logic and reality don't matter, it's more fun that way.

Quick reminder that the original disney princesses (Snow White, Cinderella, and sleeping beauty) were written and made purely to be appreciated as beautiful fairy tales brought to life with animation and film, not to be moral guides of how we should live our lives and were also intended for adults.

That's mythology for you. No matter what the culture this is always the case. I personally just like to enjoy my movies as movies and not take it to such a nitpicking level as to whether it's historically accurate or if it's not like the original. :) maybe that's just me
