It's this craze going on with girls hair. It's supposed to fade slowly from dark to light starting at the roots. The girl on the left is most girls goal. The one on the right looks like she had bleached her hair and then let her roots grow out. I'm a guy too but the only reason I know this is because my ex was obsessed with this style.
