People who enjoyed Doom included both people whose terrible actions came from pre-existing mental conditions and attitudes towards the world, and Terry Pratchett. Methinks any arguments about videogames causing violence and psychopathy are very, very shaky.

I don't think it counts if you just don't feel that way about anybody, and in fact don't believe 'friendzoning' exists outside of people who use it vindictively. Besides, if they are like me in that they can't get over you despite you not thinking of anyone in that particular way, then that's their problem to deal with, not yours. Just because you like someone doesn't mean they have to like you back, no matter how much you'd be willing to do for them just to have a chance.

We do have a friendship going, at least, but all signs point to her being aromantic as well. Regardless of that, I'm just a high school student. Just because the first girl that I've had a crush on for far too long can't reciprocate doesn't mean the next however-many won't. Besides, I'd probably be a terrible boyfriend.

I was imitating Okabe Rintarou of Steins;Gate, or Hououin Kyouma as he prefers to be called. Steins;Gate is a very good anime with an amazing English dub adapted from a visual novel that I hope to one day play. I would recommend watching it if you like self-proclaimed mad scientists, time travel, J. Michael Tatum's voice, or anime in general.
