I would post stuff, but everything I want to post comes from here. Oh well, comments are enough for me.

A week ago I finished off a pre-made campaign, and with the help of our rogue absolutely ruined the lead-in to the real thing (this campaign was the first for most of us, myself included). There was a necromancer that was meant to make it to the other side of the room, become a lich and do something that'd lead to a multi-century time skip, but the rogue got a crit on his backstab and did a whole heap of damage, and then I finished him off with non-crit 12 damage from my battleaxe.

Every time I see a climate change post I'm reminded of how very American this website is.

Nothing better than a day with grey skies and pouring rain, unless you have to be outside carrying stuff that'd be damaged by the water.

And this is why I've so far built my Dark Souls character to one-hand a Zweihander.

A steering wheel. Or a piece of paper with a reference to Fire Emblem written on it that was given to me by my crush well over a year ago that I just found again today.

Simo was also subject to having the forest he was in carpet-bombed. Damage report? His coat was a bit worse for wear.

Actually, it has worked on my Mum's laptop at least twice. No clue what was wrong, just that it fixed whatever it was and that the same effect would probably have come from turning either the wifi or the laptop itself off and on again.

The worst part of living in the future compared to most of the English-speaking world is when you have to watch videos for one-day-long holidays on the day afterwards, making the depression that comes with Valentine's Day just as hard for a whole extra day.

Then there was the Mars Climate Observer. In that case it wasn't the NASA engineers' fault, but Lockheed-Martin. The computers NASA used were expecting figures in metric, which makes sense because that's the system that the entire scientific community uses. Lockheed-Martin, however, made computers that gave their readings in imperial, causing the orbiter to hit the atmosphere of Mars way too low and break up due to friction with the air.

In Australia we have at least one robot per family to fend off wild animal attacks, though they're generally a fair bit smaller than the Iron Giant.

At least they have free Bethesda games for life. Whether it's Bethesda's or theirs, I'm not sure.
