'Nice guy' or a giant wimp who's too scared to tell his friend how he really feels about her, yet expects her to take action immediately.

But do they really compete with regular pastries? If they're just crackers with filling?

Hmm, I do believe they are sold in some stores in Europe, but they're just not that common. I tend to find that most northern european countries (I assume norwegian girl is norwegian ;) ) will prefer savory foods for breakfast, or at least foods without excessive added sugars.

Why don't you sit your American ass down. It's not a common breakfast food all around the world.

Ever heard of the commonwealth? Britain actually sort of owns many of its colonies to this day, and chooses to keep them.

Good points, I hadn't looked at it from that perspective. If long-distance teleportation would be a thing, you could live in a really cheap but warm country somewhere in Africa and Asia, work in Europe or the US, and party on an island like Ibiza or something alike.

Would your life really change that much with teleportation powers? It would save commuting cost and time, but otherwise not that much I'm guessing.

I think the difficulty in communication lies in crossing people's personal level of comfort. People don't always have the courage to be honest about that, and what I think PC-culture should do is create a safer environment, where everyone feels comfortable expressing their needs. It shouldn't work as a standard that everyone has to conform to. In that aspect, it's no different than the toxic patterns from before, because it was very difficult to break those as well.
