It isn't true. There have been studies and it seems to be completely false. In a study of 47 patients needing a heart transplant, 79% of them reported no change in personality or habits, 15% felt a change due to their life threatening event but nothing major, and the final 6% (Three patients) say it changed their personality. The low number along with the fact that it is likely to be a simple misassociation of the true cause cause it to be debunked.

All those things above are unhealthy to just yourself. They are by no means good and I don't support anything unhealthy, but they don't affect as many people. Obesity affects everyone near you - especially children. 48% of children from obese parents are likely to be overweight and on their way to obesity. That's an issue due to how young they are. A person who is overweight most of their entire life is less likely to try to lose weight.

The problem is that people get too comfortable. Weight loss is 90% diet. If you just ate a little less than usual you'd lose weight. It's a fact that being fat is more expensive, time consuming, and difficult than being skinny. It takes effort to overeat.

The solution to losing weight is really easy - don't let it get so far that it is too difficult. Keep yourself under control. It's easiest to stop falling down a hill after the first second than the tenth.
We SHOULD shame people. Being fat is unhealthy for yourself and your kids and the sooner they decide to change their lifestyle the better. People are different physically. Some people can lose ten pounds in a week while it may take another months to do so.
It's not like it takes effort. Losing weight is a very simple thing - people just like to make it sound difficult so they have an excuse not to do it.

Exactly. It may be more difficult than normal, but it's still possible. And the reason it's hard to in the first place? Because they are already overweight. The more overweight you are, the harder it is to lose it. It's similar to working out. You need to be of a certain strength to do the exercises to become stronger. If you take care of yourself before you overweight then you'll find it's much easier to manage.
Also, Race can affect weight loss, but that is a minor point. Contrary to what most say, there are multiple differences between races.

Conditions that cause a person to become obese are extremely rare, so that is no excuse. Some conditions make you more susceptible to becoming overweight but it still can be overcome through small changes in your diet. Some people prefer fat people yea, but that's no reason to make it seem like a good thing. Obesity is dangerous as it shortens your life and makes your children more likely to be obese as well. Fat-Acceptance is Death-Acceptance.

The problem is not Christians like you. The people like you are decent. You don't speak out. But that's even worse.
