Many things have been accomplished because there was a race between people. Power, money, a sense of accomplishment, they all make one want to progress, so that they can be better than the others. I suppose it could've hapenned in that world too but very slowly or not at all.

Apparently it's really different from the rest of Brazil, it has really nice people and everything is well maintained (it's also really expensive to live in).

Yeah, people 'never' eat with their left hand (the hand they wipe with). Also the 'soup' should all be absorbed into the rice tbh. I'm not really a fan of eating with my hands (except for some things).

I know people in real life are like that, it didn't come from nowhere. The tweet says that cheating has been normalised on the internet and I was saying that just because we joke about it doesn't mean that we think it is normal.

False hope means confident feelings about something that may not be true/is likely to not be true. False hope does exist, but the word is weird as hope that is false doesn't exist but false hope is very much a thing because the meaning is different. Hope is a very important thing, without hope not much would happen and I hope that the kid lives a full and happy life too.
