Orrr it could be that he's researched about islam and didn't like what he saw. And he could always be talking about people on the internet who say they are muslim or just that he is wary of muslims, when he might meet one. It's not like he's just going around absolutely terrified of any muslim he might meet, he's just going to be wary if he knows.

Except that we never see which muslims he is judging. You are generalising because of the stereotype that white people don't know shit and just judge other people that look different. That's racism too.

In the bigger picture, nothing has value. However, the smaller the radius of the circle, the more value there might be for some people, even robbers, gangsters etc.

It depends on how far back you go. Baths weren't really that common. In fact, vikings were considered very attractive because they were the only ones who would bathe once a week.
