Right but in this situation the prep/jock represent "good" crowd.. Now a days people forget the contexts of the situations in different era's. Where one thing means something today is totally different from yesterday or tomorrow. People in that era only thought that if you were prep/jock would get further in life. For example go to college, get a well standing job, and leave their s****y town. While the delinquent stop improving their life right after high school. They do not try to go to college, probably work two jobs, and stay in their miserable town. Today we do not think that because we find that thinking repulsive. There is no distinction between prep/jock or delinquents on "good/bad" crowd it is just a mixture.

I understand everything you say. I was neither of these but I friends that were or going through this phase. But to brethilwen, in a way Danny was changing to be good and have a better life. Danny was part of the "bad" crowd. He would not have a chance in having a better life with his crowd.

You know that most these movies characters are teens. So, I don't know about you but some teens not all based their feelings on physical attraction instead of emotional. And our parents like this because it was a sort rebelling against their parents. These thing, like today, are very taboo with parents. Stay a virgin until marry, respect your elders, be a sheep and follow the rules, stay out of trouble these some of the things those movies went against. Also these movies were made in the late 70's early 80's. This is the start of teen rebellion and teen movies. In that era the movies are for teens and only teens. Which makes that any movies that came out in that era are targeted for teens and not their parents. The marketing now and then, targeted kids or teens because they have the time to watch these movies and the parents will fork over the money to just get the kids out of their hair.

Who says the child was a girl? This post is mostly gender neutral. Assuming that since the child of 7 years scream and cried makes her a girl. --_--

Part 2: what influence Tim Burton’s movie style. I’m not going to explain what German Expressionism is because that would be an essay of sorts and I do not have that much space for it. I really suggest looking this up there were great movies came out that era like The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, Metropolis, and Nosferatu.

What, all of a sudden he became god and broke a rib off and said "This is now bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; They shall be called my descendants, Because they were taken out of Me." Jack's full name is Jack Skeleton hint hint nudge nudge, (he's a skeleton no flesh or organs.) Not to be rude or anything but Jack is as old as Santa Claus if you read above. And if does have brother's or descendants they would be on the magical/mythical side. Corpse Bride and Frankenweenie deal with the human side and humans. None of the characters showed any signs of magic which would put them in any relations with Jack. As that being said people are just basing all these characters on their physique and the dog. Their bodies are slender and almost Skeleton like. Their faces (CB and FW) are heart shape and large eyes. The heights for CB and Jack are way different. Look up German Expressionism, this is what influence Tim Burton’s movie style. I’m not going to explain what German Expressionism is

I think you have that backwards. When Jack was in the real world it look like the 1990's. While Frankenweenie probably took place between 50's-70's. Then the Corpse Bride is between the late 1800 and early 1900's. So the order of the movies would go as follow: Corpse Bride, Frankenweenie, and Nightmare before Christmas. I’m basing this off of clothes and the technology that is provided (example TV’s.) However does not matter with all of this because Jack is the King of Halloween. Which means that he is as old as Santa Claus and he was never alive in the first place.

Who does not know this? I mean if you read the book or watch the movies you could guess who is who and what is what. Just stating the obvious
