Okay, I don't wear makeup, so I'm not familiar with many makeup terms. What is that? Is it like a gradient?

I'm curious as to what makeup for men would be like. Obviously they would have skin products like foundation, but I could very much see men using a type of pen to "draw in" or enhance their facial hair.

Numbah 2 will always be my favorite character. His awkward and dorky, yet very intelligent personality resonated very strongly with me.

My memory on the lesson is fuzzy, but that's basically what it was. They told us stuff like to not go out at night alone, but that's pretty much all I remember of it.

Okay, my school never had the condom demonstration! We learned about the basics of sex, STDs, pregnancy, and "how to avoid getting raped," but God forbid I learn anything about contraceptives because it's not like people have sex for fun!

DRAWING IS NOT THAT SIMPLE DAMMIT 8 comments

What this is saying is that you need a good amount of contrast when shading. If your darkest value isn't too dark, then it will just look flat.

Cant we all just let respect each others belief 16 comments

I agree @shepard530. However, public schools are kind of forced to take a position of religious neutrality; the most they can do is grant days off for major religious days. Also, how would you accommodate for all religions?
Private prayer is fine though.

Mirrored ceilings belong in bedrooms and nowhere else.

It's because public schools are required to stay separate from religion. That's why it's called the moment of silence rather than moment of prayer.
Though in that case, would that mean that the "under God" part of the pledge can't be said in public schools?

I freaking love diamonds 7 comments

Diamonds aren't even that rare or valuable. The only reason they're treated as such is because they began to be marketed as this rare and valuable item that is the ultimate expression of love.

You're right--coloring and drawing are different things. You see coloring in a coloring book or just when you're using color to fill in a blank space. However, the color in the examples above are used to add dimension, value, and texture. There is technique and purpose to those colors, which makes these drawings and not just colorings.

So if you ever meet me in person and are curious as to my ethnicity, this it what I'll say 6 comments

I get that the "what [race] are you?" question is rather rude, but people also seem to take offense to "where are you from?" I feel like the latter isn't racist though; I for one, just want to know where you're from out of curiosity and because I like learning about different cultures. Can someone explain why asking where someone is from is rude?

Let's not forget that Ariel was dumb enough to sign a contract that would allow her to meet the love of her life--without being able to easily communicate with him. Ariel isn't exactly the brightest character around.
