People over 65 carry with them the wisdom of a life lived - their personal experiences and the foresight that the young ones do not have. Youths think they know everything but they still have a lot to learn (and won't admit it).
Whoever supports this form of thinking (i.e. ban >65 y/o from voting) should have their voting rights stripped away. They are the ones with the least participation and, tbh, we are nothing without the people who came before us.
