Have to agree. It's like it's going to extreme lengths to shove politics in your face (or up your ass) and not getting down to the business of advancing story arcs. I think the Wachowskis knew it was going to be cancelled and made a point of just waving the rainbow flag all the way.

Yeah, but gyms aren't made for people who do their thing and mind their goddamn business. they're made for narcissistic douches who spend half the time eyeing up the other gym-goers and the other half mentally masturbating to their self-image.
