I actually picked the oh-so-tacky location at the top of the Eiffel Tower to propose to my wife... Terrible idea. We immediately got mobbed by 7-8 middle-aged American well-wishing tourists, before she even had said "yes". She said "yes".

This reminds me of a restaurant that popped up nearby. In late June I went up to the door and looked inside. There was a guy inside who said "we only open in August, sorry, please take our business card". I noticed they were doing some renovations and that sounded fine. Fast forward two months and the restaurant has dozens of 5-star reviews dated June, even though it only opened in August. Oddly, the reviewers all have the same surname and are related to the owner.

the bowl of water needs to be warm, and while you're asleep with your hands in the bowl, that leads you to relax and pee yourself. not sure if it just relaxes your bladder or if it's a deeper ingrained sense of unconscious security from when you're in momma's womb. dunno. the end result is you pee yourself.

I agree 1000% with you, but maybe the OP is just ahead of us and is making a subtle social critique at the fact that reality shows are nothing more than "arranged" and therefore the overall population's reality show addiction (on these shows in particular) is really an endorsement on arranged marriages, yet we always have time to criticize the non-"white people" societies on their culture and traditions.
Or not. It's just really fucking stupid to compare "arranged marriages" to a reality show where adults are doing something for their individual personal gain, and not their underage child bride.
