Maybe because you paid a lot for that electronic device which has all of your information incluiding personal pictures, messages, etc. That you can't get back once you lose them, and your virginity in most cases (and I wish I could say all) is lost willingly to someone you love and care about a lot, and trust. You (hopefully) choose to lose your virginity, but you don't choose to lose your phone.
