And also sloths hang on tight!
Harpy Eagle’s barrel roll to grab them, and will hit them so hard and fast they’ll tear off the branch the sloth held onto before they’ll let go of the sloth....

Their head is somewhat owl like, iirc they have a faceplate (I think it’s called) like owls do. I taught my friend about one after learning about it in school, and ironically we turned on the tv to a harpy Eagle documentary.
Correction: their feathers make the “faceplate” thing like owls to further aid their dominant hearing. They’re so cool

I noticed we skipped the part where they described it as colloquial - which itself suggests that it was accepted and used by people, despite its lack-of-formality or true purpose.
Take that how you will, but it could mean you are right on the grounds that it was “technically wrong” ie “frigid air doesn’t equal refrigerator”
Or you could say it’s colloquial like “donut vs doughnut” where people just can’t be bothered to do it correctly so we said “screw it”

Either way humans are born like, “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WTF WHY WHY WHY AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” and that goes on for an average of 80 years before it stops
