A greater thought would be all the people in the mega-churches become inspired to start homeless shelters or support them. And by support I didn’t mean volunteer once and call it a wrap. Actually investing your time and money into making a difference. It’s not the churchs’ job to solve everything. It’s their job to inspire fellow believers to spread God’s love through their actions outside of church rather than just say God loves you to a stranger and move on with no actions to back up your words. That’s why Christianity has been on such a decline in the modern world. People don’t act out what they believe and are content with being lukewarm in their faith. God even says that being lukewarm is repugnant and he would rather you be hot or cold with your faith. But rightfully so these people get called hypocrites and try so badly to defend themselves when in reality all of us are hypocrites and aren’t made to be perfect. We just need to love everyone and put our communities above ourself
