This is from poorly fitting tack more than anything else. A saddle has an internal structure (called a tree) that keeps the weight off the animal's spine and distributes it across the sides of the back. A bad saddle will rest on the spine. This will be immediately apparent, since the increased pressure will prevent the sweat glands from working--there will be dry spots where there is too much pressure. It is very easy to see. This poor donkey's back is caused by the repeated use of an ill-fitting saddle. Yes, overweight people will contribute more to the damage to the animal's back, but even a light person would hurt this donkey with the tack it is wearing. Fat people cause back/joint issues in animals that is internal, not readily visible like this wound is. It's sad, but a misleading picture. Yes, animals shouldn't be overloaded (carry no more than 25% of their body weight, including tack). But animals also need properly fitting tack. It's like having shoes that don't fit.

I looked it up. It is a fossil. Really cool fossil, but nonetheless not a mummy

Go back to your original way of thinking. Birds of paradise (the actual birds; there's several different species) are known for their whacky feathers and elaborate mating displays. Here's an example:

The word you're looking for is "ensure" not "insure." Sorry, the acronym doesn't work.

240 miles divided by 5 miles per hour= 48 hours. 6 weeks=42 days. I call bullshit on timing

Can you blame them? Imagine a friendly, fluffy creature as big in scale to you as that dog is to those kittens, and tell me you wouldn't want to cuddle up in all that fur and fluff.

Then suddenly the water turns on and starts pouring through the hole. You try to get out from under it, but you are stuck. The water gushes over you, choking you as you gasp for air. The last thing you hear is loud purring from the countertop above.

One of my biggest regrets in life was not hearing about the call for horses and riders for LOTR until after the fact. Had a horse, even had my own chainmail armor that I wore in parades (and an armored faceplate for my horse).

What do you have against costumers? Did they design your centurion costume incorrectly?

Yeah. It could've been injured, making it difficult to hunt and leading to the emaciation.

That poor mountain lion is so skinny. It's probably desperate for a nice fat kitty dinner. Good thing kitty is inside.
