To add to the list, most people have very little control over their relationship with poverty and their health. Look up the social determinants of health if you're interested. It does make the American dream a bit harder to swallow.

The lack of trust is a communication issue. People are very twitchy about the cheating thing, but try to understand why it upsets you. Is it really the idea that your partner can have eyes only for you, or is it a feeling of not knowing? The latter is communication.

Cheating is not the worst thing you could do in a relationship. Lack of communication is.

Holy shit, really? Sixth Sense spoilers? Soylent Green is people, Rosebud was the name of his sled, and it turns out the planet of the apes is actually Earth. Snape kills Dumbledore.

The creation of paper plates uses a lot of water, combined with a great number of other resources to package them and ship them to a store near you. Ceramic is certainly a winner. Also, it's not a bad thing to be an environmentalist.

His family is already insane. Spongebob and Gene would be trying to out-crazy each other, and Patrick and Tina would be trying to out-stupid each other. Plankton and Louise would probably team up.

Sonic is just an incredibly difficult character to use with any effectiveness. He has some decent juggling skill and is very fast, but basically no reach or power, along with no ranged abilities. Very difficult to master, and can be outplayed even if you have.

Well, considering you would purchase a magazine with all of those codes in it, I wouldn't say there's a huge difference.

How to raise a happy child 13 comments

"Children need to be disciplined" — There are a lot of problems with that statement. First off, define discipline for me. That means a bunch of different things to different people. Secondly, from what source are you getting 'need'? Do you have any recent psychology journals that cite as such, or are we basing this on how you were raised? It's perfectly fine to have your own ideas in regards to how to parent, and a post like this is not telling parents to let their kids do as they please all the time. It's only illustrating that children are people who act out because their needs are not being met. If you understand your child, you're better able to provide a lower stress environment, which is actually EASIER than being a disciplinarian.
