That's what I thought til one of the first orders he signed is the start of my dream career no longer being an option. But sure, let's just pretend nothings happening, who the president is totally doesn't affect the citizens of that country.

It takes a lot of guts to go for a difficult path in life, and tell people what you're planning. It doesn't take much of anything to be a naysayer. When you see somebody on a harsh path, there's a nice way and a cruel way to say anything, you chose the cruel way, part of which, if not all (I'm not going to check your statistics) was your negative opinion on the situation.
Ninjo, you probably have already looked at the time and commitment that path takes. Good luck to you, and I hope you don't let nameless pessimists on the internet get to you.

How wrong would it be to give a sapling of the tree as a house warming present to an enemy?

Not the last minuteness that is suspicious, but the added fact that it's to a random place might seem shady.

I feel like with number 8 you'd get detained for a while and quite possibly put on the no fly list.

Fun Fact: China may have been adding more CO2 to the atmosphere total, but the US adds more per capita, meaning China as a country is worse but individual Americans are worse than individual Chinese.

My wardrobe is full of colorful clothes 15 comments
milksbestfriend · 9 years ago
It's going on the "the color of an object is actually every color but the one you percieve" thing, in which cause, if something is black, it's because no color is being reflected from that object to your eyes, and therefore that object absorbs/contains all color. (And white means no colors are absorbed)

The Insignia Series, not only was it awesome, but when I finished it I had been in the back of the library, with all the dusty nonficiton books, reading back there for probably three hours straight. When I got up and had to go to class I was so disoriented, I couldn't remember what the room number I needed was, and I kept catching myself thinking of technology from the book like it was real and I'd used it my whole life. Loved the series, awesome character development and plot line.

Think about the people who voted "not helpful" on any of these. They must live a sad, humorless life. They probably got all pissed off, and ranted to themselves how people need to take banana slicers seriously.
