As a Titanic nerd, I can confirm the historical correctness of this post!

That is just straight up absurd! $1340 for a ambulance transport!? That's like a little bit more than half a months pay (generally speaking), here in Sweden. An ambulance transport for us swedes is around $40, since most of our healthcare is funded via taxes. Most other people think of our "high" tax rates as a great evil in a socialist country (which we're really not if one actually cares to look beyond what foreign media portrays us as), but hey, at least we don't have to go bankrupt every time we need medical care.

I loved Mulan when I was little, so I'm very excited by this! But if the huns attack isn't in it with the according music from the original film...I'm ragequitting!

Though I agree that The Fantastic Four and X-Men Last Stand were mediocre, he did write and produce The Martian who did really well. And also Logan The Wolverine movie. Both of these movies earned a pretty good score on both Imdb and Rotten Tomatoes and earned over six times their respective budgets. So in fairness, he's produced some bad movies, but also some good ones as well.

This was actually strangely entertaining. I loved the music and the visual imagery. This made my day a bit better!

That one hit me pretty damn hard, since I'm currently in a similar situation.
I've had a very strong crush on my close friend and work-colleague for 6-8 months now. And this past thursday, I told her how I felt about her, just to clear my chest and try to move on since she is already in a relationship with another person.
Now the sad part is that she actually have feelings for me as well. She told all these things that if the timing had been different she would definetly have chosen me over the other guy. That she has had dreams about me and her where her current boyfriend isn't around. And that when the day comes when I have a girlfriend it would pain her.
Now I feel really confused and depressed. She seems to have feelings for me, has dreamt about me, and would even choose me over her boyfriend had things just been different. This isn't helping me move on, just the opposite. My heart is screaming "She is the one", I have never felt this strongly about any other girl....

That's just downright disturbing. I can't even comprehend how a man can lose his temper that much to even think of such a thing. Just horrible.

And there were 2200 passengers and around 840 personnel onboard, a total of 3000 circa. So even if they had filled the lifeboats to their full capacity, two thirds of the passengers were doomed to die either way.

I can totally relate to this. I work as a lifeguard at the local public baths and the job includes to have swimming lessons for the children that go to school. So many kids that has done this and shouted "Hey, look at me!! I'm surfing!"
