It’d be great if that word lost the power that it has now and everyone could use it and no one would be upset. But it hasn’t lost power yet and probably won’t in my lifetime due to racists who use that word as an insult. Kendrick most likely didn’t expect a fan of his to not realise the implications of her saying the word when he’s talked about these issues in his songs.

It’s all fine for you to be saying the n-word doesn’t offend people anymore but you’re not the targeted person. If you listen to the targeted people, they don’t want you saying it and I think people should respect that more.
