I'm pro-choice because there are certain cases where I feel like abortion should be allowed (not encouraged, but allowed). When we were fifteen, my best friend was raped by her boyfriend (she was religious and wanted to wait until marriage). In the end she gave Charlie up for adoption, but that's something that changes a person. I don't feel like anyone had any right to tell her she /couldn't/ abort or that she /had/ to abort. There are also cases where the mother could be severely injured, or there was incest, or the girl is in an abusive relationship and if the guy finds out she's pregnant, adoption won't be an option, or the girl doesn't have the money to go through the doctors visits, the vitamin supplements, and birth, all of which are extremely expensive (at least in the USA). Their health care might not cover it. And in any of these cases, I think that if the mother should choose to abort she shouldn't be harassed, and furthermore, I don't think it's anyone's business but hers

And three, why would you stay in America just because you got cancer? Go home and get treatment, it's not like cancer becomes stage four in a week.

I was being sarcastic. I have a-cup breasts and I wore make-up once to a family party and it was like the super goth/punk style with dark eyeshadow just to freak them out.

San Francisco is my favorite place, though admittedly I haven't gotten to travel much either. Just the city itself is amazing, and anyone visiting should definitely see Grace Cathedral and Angel Island, as well as all the usual tourist spots. I stayed there for a month with my dad and we walked almost everywhere, let me tell you: the hills are killer.

If it was burned that badly, the nerves might have been damaged enough that she couldn't feel it very well.

Long hair 10 comments
missraven · 9 years ago
I'm a girl, and my dad's hair has always been about the same length as mine. When I was like super little (under 7) it was pretty short, then he grew it out to be shoulder-length and longer most of my life, and then a couple years ago we both cut all our hair off again.
Cosplay however you want 11 comments

What is /not/ cosplay is wearing fan items like some people who will wear a t-shirt from something and show cleavage. You have to have some intent to be the character, not just wearing something that shows you like the character :) even if the ironettes /weren't/ a thing, it'd be a cosplay.

I fricken love raisins as much as I fricken love chocolate chips 42 comments

I looove raisins, and I dislike chocolate chips, so everyone's like "don't you hate it when you find raisin cookies instead of chocolate chip ones" and I love it, because when someone else finds them I'm just like "THEY'RE ALL FOR ME 8D"

I've never actually read the book (bad me I know), but my best friend loved it, so we went to go see the movie... and it was good, but we also spent 90% of the movie giggling and assigning characters to people in our lives. We said she was Jace and she was Clary - without the romance thing between them.

I'm pretty sure the 12 year olds who get sold and drugged aren't interested in sex.

Right. So ah, I wanted it when I was seventeen and my grandpa decided that he was going to sleep with me? What about all the child brides in the middle east? There are rapists and they're terrible human beings, both male and female.

How can you be so sure you'd get cancer here and not in your own country? There are also strains of diseases in labs in other countries as well.

Part of this 'coddling' and understanding is that you help them feel wanted and safe, so they have someone to talk to, and so that you can advise them to get help, or talk to other loved ones about it if needed.

Now at least, as long as you're respectful and quiet, you don't have to say the pledge, but a lot of people around here will still get pissed off at you if you don't.

Just because it's stupid doesn't mean they should get blamed. Yes, it is stupid as /fuck/ to go out in public wearing something that could make you a target, but that doesn't make it their fault. Furthermore, rapists do not look at the attractiveness. Rape is a crime of control, it's not about the sex, but about putting someone down and asserting you can do anything you want to them, and they have no power to stop you. Serial rapists look for people who are alone, who are unnoticed, who look shy (because they're less likely to scream before it's already too late), who can easily be cornered, and who have long hair (to stand on or grab for easier control).

No it's not, and you know why? Because cops and judges aren't going to ask what /he/ was wearing. Yes, women should be smart, nothing is going to stop rapists from raping, but that isn't the point. The point is that just because they're going to do it anyway, does not mean they should be let go just because of someone else's actions. Rape is wrong, just like mugging is wrong.
Also, sorry this is late, but honestly.
