Loki, I don't think that's even the worst thing one of your children gets, considering you have a snake, an 8 legged horse, and a giant wolf for children... and you're their mother.

There are pills you can buy in case you ever need your good bacteria boosted, but most of them are perfectly safe in your body unless you get a disease or something similar. :)

The "castle" Bran climbs is an old, abandoned tower within the city of Winterfell, and the leave they took in creating that was for the actor, not realistic. In the book it states there holds within the cracks in the stone that he uses to climb.

All blood cells (red, white, and platelets) are made in your bone marrow from stem cells there. :)
.
Edit: also looked up the use. The appendix is believed to be a safe house for good bacteria, so it could still cause certain problems to have it removed, but it's probably better than letting it burst.

Read that first sentence of the post again. This was just to get people to stop overreacting about it (at least that's my take). I have had /so many people/, especially guys go "GROSS YOU'RE HAIRY" because I don't shave my legs. I'm not dating them, I'm not even talking to them or contemplating being friends, we're just in the same area.

I'm confused as to what uses head hair has, and I agree with the accumulation bit, but as for the differences between shampoo and body wash, it's more for your body's sake you don't use the same thing than your hair's. Shampoo is a detergent, meaning that it doesn't just clean, it removes all the oil in your hair, which makes it easier to keep grease-free, but it's not actually good for your hair, and it isn't necessary anywhere else because it will just result in dry skin and exceptionally coarse body hair.

adopt. That's why I'm pro-choice, and I don't think it should be any harder to get an abortion. Yes, there are some cases where women are not good people, but they shouldn't be able to bring children into this world, especially children they don't want, any more than a rape victim should have to prove she was raped in order to get one, because there are so many women who just can't take the pressure that cops put on them after such a traumatic experience, who cave and claim they were lying. I don't think abortion should be encouraged, but I don't think /anyone/ no matter the reason should be told they /can't/ have an abortion.

But not all kids who aren't aborted get that. My best friend's mother was pregnant with twins, she already had three kids, and since the father of the twins had abandoned her, she wanted an abortion. However, she was too poor and I don't know, maybe things were stricter back then, to get an official abortion. So she did an illegal one herself. It only killed one of the twins, and the other grew up to be my best friend. However, all her life, her mother treated her like dirt. She was abused and neglected, but she wanted her mother to like her so badly that she didn't tell anyone. No one found out. Her mother got a new boyfriend when she was 10 years old, and this man sexually assaulted her. She didn't like the guy, so she went to the cops. Her mother told them she was lying, and there was no proof otherwise, so it continued for two years. Not every baby who doesn't get aborted gets a happy family that loves them, and there are already plenty of children without permanent families to

Heavily censored and controlled, meaning /they didn't do what they were told/. It doesn't matter that they weren't /given/ freedom, they took it, just as a lot of minorities have taken it for a long time. What you're saying is that people should be told what to do, but what is the point if they don't do it? Unless you're saying that we should be told what to do and just ignore it anyway, in which case the whole argument is pointless... since we'll do what we want either way.

I have no idea how to file taxes, make a resume, find good insurance, buy anything... but thank goodness I know that one calorie is the amount of energy it takes to raise one milliliter of water one degree. Or how do a cosine graph. I will use this so much in my desired career of psychology. ;)

There are some homeless people who are trying to get a bus ticket to where their family lives so that they no longer have to beg, or they might need food for the future, but I agree that it is a risk you take when you give people money.
.
Whether they really need it or not, though, taunting people like that makes you a shitty person. You can make arguments that they might not really need the money, but if that's the case... just leave. He's not holding you hostage telling you to give him the money.

Sorry, today's legal system, and /current/ medical practice. There have been many, many breakthroughs made even by children, because they weren't told to do something else that was more 'appropriate' for them. Yes, roles of all kinds were a thing, but even France, England, and just about every other country in the world would be vastly different and likely not even a country on their own standing if people had just done what they were told. Women have made many advancements throughout history, and they would have made many more if they were treated equally. If everyone always did exactly what they were told for the sake of society, we would have no /culture/, there would be no art, or music. Everyone would still be pagan or worship Greek, Roman, or Egyptian gods. In South America, people would probably still have human sacrifice because that's what their priests said to do. In order to make progress, people have to have freedom - the freedom to think and create, at the very least.

Yeah, there are, but we wouldn't have a rocket, medical equipment or practice, plumbing, legal system, or a country of our own if people had always done what they were told.

Or maybe something happened. Protection doesn't work 100% of the time. There are plenty of children who have no parents or crap parents already, and no, it's not right to have that attitude, but if those women think that a child is nothing but a burden, they shouldn't be mothers, whether they use protection or not. It sucks for your aunt, but she's a grown woman, and the children they're choosing not to have would not be. Them keeping their babies and ignoring them or treating them like crap will not make your aunt able to have kids of her own.

But the thing is... would you want that woman being a mother? In my opinion, at least, it's 100% better to abort than to end up neglecting or abusing a child.

There were still people who weren't good at what they did. There were terrible rulers, terrible mothers. People have different skills, regardless of what they're groomed for. It's far better to wait until we know what those skills are to try to determine a career.

You can't tell what someone is well suited to be when they're born. That is what gender roles is, telling someone from their birth what they're going to do. It isn't based on what they're good at, it's based only on whether they have a certain body part. Just because I have a vagina doesn't mean I'd be a good mother.

Okay let me rephrase: just because you don't get told "you're going to be a lawyer" from the time you're born doesn't mean that there's a problem with society.

Yes, society was so stable back when women were just child bearers and we chopped off people's heads because we wanted to. Society isn't any less stable just because people aren't told what they have to do.
