Well did anyone except me read the "Mass Effect" books, because they are trashy as f**k. I mean I still loved them because I love the series, but they were horrible written.
Same goes for me and star wars
I could go with "The source material is the best"

There is a german "stoner-comedy" movie where they talk about this problem. And one of the main characters just rages on and on about this... and I think he really got a point.
