Or it could be there for display, (as having been wrecked during action, it probably couldn't work or be repaired,) or for simulation or it's probably an aviation school.

I know the feeling. Stay strong and find yourself something to do. Go out, and if nothing, then volunteer somewhere to help people. Or put yourself to anything that you really, really like doing. Or, take an mooc. A wild incorrect guess would be that you're in between college and school applications. Or maybe not. Either way. Don't sit around idle. It's self-destructive. Life's a one time thing and give it your best. You wouldn't want to wake up years later regretting the time you could've done or learnt something during. If you think you deserve the best, then give life your best.
