Not sure what surgery you're talking about. I was a below knee amputee. Then on Jan 11th I amputated above the knee.

Every little kid I come into contact with thinks I'm a robot. I passed out at my friend's house one time and his son asked if I ran out of battery life. He even got an extention chord and laid it beside me so I could plug in if I needed to.

Very true, but they do everything in their power to get you to start when you are 18. Also they manufacture them to give a really strong buzz the first couple of months after you start. By then you're hooked. It's been the hardest thing I've ever tried to quit.
