IT’S JUST MORONIC TO CAST THIS GIRL AS THE LITTLE MERMAID JUST TO PISS PEOPLE OFF AND THEN CALL THEM RACIST FOR WANTING A CHARACTER TO STAY TRUE TO THE WAY SHE WAS WHEN THEY GREW UP WITH HER. I’m all for gender bending and using people of different races to play other characters, but doing it just because they want to provoke people really gets under my skin.
