Same here with Arabic. Pretty much everything is gendered. My mom, who's a Filipino, has lived in the UAE for over twenty years and still hasn't truly understood how genders are assigned to Arabic words. I'm a native speaker, though, so it's hard to understand how difficult it is to learn.

Don't some animals feel genuinly upset by this? I know sometimes you have to shave your pet because of heat/medical reasons/etc. but is this okay? The cat seems pretty upset.

It just obstructs vision. We had one a few weeks ago and everything was so yellow and ominous, I suspected the world was ending.

My goal in life is to merge all of these faces into one and therefor just live as my truest self. I don't want to spend my life showing just one side of myself to those around me.
