Oh my gosh nobody complained about this with Rapunzel, Elsa, or Anna. Disney cartoonify's all their princesses I don't know why anyone thought she would be the exception. They do this so she could interact with the other princesses more easily. She looks like a classic, cartoon Disney Princess. If Mulan could wear a fancy dress with pride, so can Merida.
