Continued: In John 14:6, Jesus says, "I am the way and the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me." I personally believe that Jesus is the only way to go to heaven, just as the Bible says. All that we, as sinners, have to do is accept that Jesus is our Savior and turn away from our sin, and He will do the rest. Sorry for the long comment, I just believe that this needed to be put out there.
*To confirm the claims stated in the above comment that we are all sinners, you may refer to these verses: Romans 3:23, Isaiah 64:6
**To confirm the claims stated earlier in this comment that Christ cleanses us, you may refer to: 1 John 1:7-9, 1 Corinthians 15:57, Romans 8:1
Thanks!

We're all sinners. God doesn't care about which sins we've committed, all he cares about is that we all have sin. I like to think of it this way: Each sin a person commits is a brick on top his or her head. It doesn't matter how they sin; a they get a brick for lying or hurting someone's feelings, and the get a brick for killing someone. These bricks stack up on people's heads, and everyone has a different number, but everybody has at least a few. From the ground, people can see how many bricks other people have. (This is where it isn't completely accurate because God is all-knowing and is not confined to one point of view, but for the sake of the metaphor that isn't as important) From God's perspective, looking down, all He can see is that each person has a stack of bricks on their head-that we're all sinners.
Romans 6:23 in the Bible states that the consequence of sin is death, but that the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ.
