The article talks on depth not the width, it's a muscular wall and regardless of the number of sexual partner a women has has it will contract back to the original shape, women have babies that squeeze through the vaginas and still it retains its shape.

Tl;Dr: they sell hair to offset the cost of making the wigs and while they do provide some wigs for free, families pay what they can, to again offset the cost for the manufacture of the wig.

Hoo boy do I have a story for you. So I ordered a laptop online from ebay, shifty I know and it was coming all the way from USA (I live in nz) and I thought it would take forever to ship but it actually got here relatively quick only like 2 weeks but it took another 2 weeks for me to get it in hand because the stupid postal company was withholding it for no reason. Then when I got the beauty in hand it wouldn't start up and so I was like so much for that don't buy things online but it cost me a lot ($700 usd) so had someone check it out he said there's a hard drive problem better to buy a new one. So we contacted ebay asked for a refund etc etc. The guy wouldn't respond of course, but ebay being the nice company it is gave us our refund anyway and since the guy didn't respond I got to keep the laptop too and repairs only cost like $150 usd so I just got the same laptop for wayyyy less. That's my story

It's very possible, there are tribes in the amazon where it's a real risk for them to be exposed to any other people because of their lack of immunity to diseases that are fine for us. They've been isolated for too long.
