Damn that would been epic too, imagine dozens of balrogs rampaging around a battle field with elves, men, and dwarves slaughtering countless orcs, vampires, werewolves etc( yes you heard right morgoth created many creatures such as those). The valar coming to the citizens of middle earths rescue, having a dog fight in the air with thousands of fire breathing dragons and eagles. Ahhh just imagining it is a wonder.

Actually it was proposed. However the government and any other people wouldn't fund the necessary supplies, only cause is that they thought it wouldn't be beneficial or a good way to earn any large numbers of money
