This comes from 9-gag so the one who wrote the title is probably not the one who made the pic.

Not quite, we also watch movies and hang on the internet. Non-native can also speak lolcat or ghetto, but when they do, it's by choice. I doubt that those who write "it's" for "its" do it because it's casual; they simply don't know their own grammar.

I am French, and although I would not go as far as in the example, my English tends to be quite academic. I am getting tired of having to send bug reports to games or other software because the text mixes up "it's" and "its", "then" and "than", or "effect" and "affect".

Who does speak like that? "I throws", with an "s"? You've got to do it on purpose, because the rules are so trivial you cannot get them wrong. English conjugation is twenty times easier than French's. I'm honestly curious, I find it hard to imagine that a subculture would put some effort into sounding undereducated.

Same. I'm 37, my girlfriend is 25. We met five years ago and everything's still perfect. Sometimes, happiness is a bit awkward at first.

Because numbers don't add up. The best alternative to oil is nuclear, that's the only thing that can supply the enormous demand. Anything else is still peanuts, and is unlikely to ever be practical in the next few decades.

I live in the Netherlands, the only German people I've met who could speak English were all in academia; the random dude on the street usually can't speak English. In the Netherlands, any ten years old can speak English; maybe shittily, but understandably. I'm not bashing on Germany, I'm actually French and it's a disaster there as well.

Quick maths in my head. The sun would make a 3 km (radius) black hole. The radius of a black hole is proportional to its mass, so we're talking about a 36 billion kilometer black hole. It's big enough to contain all the planets of our solar system, even the Kuiper Belt, and continues a couple of times farther. It's big.

That's the thing. In France and in the Netherlands, there's no difference of behavior between the different colors. We speak with the same accent, eat the same thing, go to the same parties. For me, all this white/black business sounds as weird as saying that there are blue-eyed and hazel-eyed cultures. Lolwut.

I guess. I expect people to use proper grammar as they communicate their ideas. How stupid of me; a soup of random letters ought to be enough for anyone.

Why would you give money to your kids anyway? I had no money until I was 16, and even then it was about thirty bucks a month.
