We don't translate, though. We think and speak directly in the language. Translating would take so freaking long!

"I should have *gone*". Not "went". Yeah, he definitely shouldn't have skipped classes.
Ever heard of transparent aluminium? 7 comments

This. Because metals can't be transparent. They just can't. Kinda by definition. They're electric conductors, meaning their electrons respond to incoming light and cancel the inner field pretty much immediately (reflecting it to conserve energy). A metal can be transparent only if it's thinner than its skin depth (typically less than one micrometer), in other words if there's barely any metal at all.

I started writing with Windows 3.1 on a machine with 2 MB of RAM which crashed at least once a day. Now, I press Ctrl-S almost as often as I breathe, literally every sentence and every time I pause to think.

Ham is the texture/usecase, chicken the flavor and vegetarian the composition. It's not hard. Still kinda weird, though.

You need to watch "PG porn" on YouTube. That's what the pic is from. It's porn, without the sex.

Blood doesn't reach your brain. It's not dangerous, unless it makes you fall into traffic.

I would hardly call it a failure when it brings actual closure to algebra. All these functions that had no answers? Now they do, and not only that but the output is in the same Field as the input. Other numbers don't do that. Look at split-complex numbers for example, or even dual numbers which are great for calculus but don't provide algebraic closure.

Ok, not a fun comment. There's this town in Israel called Eilat, you can swim with dolphins and corals and stuff, it's awesome. They have a giant aquarium park with shark and turtles and underwater rooms and it's amazing. But they have an octopus in a container that's what, two feet wide? Do you know how smart an octopus is? It broke my heart. I'm actually going to write to them because that's not right. Sorry, just needed to vent.

It would happen several times a week when I was a kid. Even without standing up, just by existing. I became pro at it and would just sit on the floor wherever I was when I felt it coming. My friends just waited there till my brain had blood again, they were chill. I'm an adult now with grown up heart in a grown up body, so it's not fun anymore. I used to think it was fun.

Good for you. Twitter: 50^140 symbols. Instagram: 256^(3×1080×1080) possible pics. Which one allows for more creativity?

Not sure your meant to reply to that comment, but if you're taking about the baskets I agree. We do the same in the Netherlands.

Yes, she's alt. Works for several designers. We don't care about the sexy stuff, we like the creativity in fashion and photography. Look up Bunny Glittergun on Instagram if you're curious and into gothic stuff. But yeah, it's not for everyone and that's cool.

Makes me think of creationists 'proving' that the T-Rex was herbivore because the fruit bat has pointy teeth too.

By "what they make these days" I meant the level of detail and complexity. Patterns, mix of materials, iridescent colors, ruffles… The dress that Katy wears there is pretty much just a tube with stickers on it; it's very boring as latex goes, so I don't find it sexy. A simple dress can be nice, but on stage it's kinda lazy. Maybe I've got luxury tastes since my gf's been modeling for a few years; I got picky.

Cool, nice to know. What kind of corrosion are we seeing there? My first idea way copper, because it gets greenish, but that's way beyond green. So, that's brass?
