When I 8 months pregnant with my son, I was in line at the store waiting behind a man with a cart full of food. All I had was a gallon of milk and a loaf of bread. The cashier suggested he let me go first and he said he couldn't because he was in a rush to get home. So, I stood there waiting and when he finished the lady rang up my stuff and paid for it with a 100 dollar bill in the palm of her hand. And gave me the change. Said it was a gift from the man wanting to express his gratitude for not causing a fuss. Seems the reason he was in a rush to get back home was because his wife was sick. I looked for him in the parking lot, but he was nowhere. That change came in handy because 2 days later my (soon to be ex) husband spent every dime in our account to get computer parts.

For those who don't know, she is also married to another Mangaka, Yoshihiro Togashi (Hunter x Hunter & Yu Yu Hakusho). Together they are the ultimate manga power couple. Now, if he would just let her help finish Hunter x Hunter

She loves being a server, it fits her personality, but all of the rules and regulations pisses her off. Especially when she loses at least 75 bucks a shift in tips because they were on credit cards. The hostess, who doesn't even touch the food only gets 2.12 an hour because the position can be classified as a server. And the owner makes the servers give her the balance of minimum wage from their tips so they don't have to pay her on a check. I thought it was just done where she works, but it's common in most restaurants.

My daughter is a server, she makes 2.12 an hour. The restaurant has to pay her the balance of minimum wage if she doesn't make enough in tips. So many servers were saying they didn't get tips so they could keep their cash, and get paid minimum wage on top. The restaurant started a new policy, if a server cannot manage to make at least 5.13 an hour in tips, you didn't have a job anymore. And her restaurant takes half of her tips left on credit card charges for back of the house, who gets paid more than minimum wage.

It totally is! I wish that Togashi wasn't forced to end it so quickly. It also explains why he's taking his time with Hunter x Hunter.

While One Piece does have filler arcs, it's usually after a long arc, and because the anime is catching up to the manga. One Piece has the lowest amount of filler than any other anime. It's only 3% over 916 episodes.
Also, TPN is not filler free, but it's pretty close though, I read it weekly as well as watch the anime. There is nothing that is really 100% canon.

One piece has been my favorite for many years, a part of me will be incredibly sad once the Manga ends. But, I want it to go out on a high note. My personal guess is that it will go a bit longer than oda has just announced, and end at the 30th anniversary of the Manga, seeing as how we are at 23 years in 2020, 2027 is my prediction.

I took my dad to see this movie, he's battle hardened and has only cried 2 times in his life, and he came very close during this scene.
