Oh wow! I used to work in a souvenir store in Copenhagen and we had these shakers :D
They were super popular, so once in a while one would disappear or break, and then you'd have this little shaker left alone... With no one and nothing to hug :p

The Norwegian word is the actual term for girlfriend - the other two are just pet names as far as I'm aware (not the official term for boyfriend and girlfriend in their respective languages =))
