There is no need to be rude, my friend. Maria was just pointing out a fact.

It's always the rude ones that get really insulted when you point out their rudeness.

Dr. Leonid Rogozov operating himself to remove his Appendix in Antarctica (1961) 10 comments

Perhaps the gloves are a darker color and since the picture is black and white, they seem to match his skin tone.
Or perhaps there are no gloves available. Considering the fact that he's operating on himself, there is probable a shortage of doctors and supplies.

If it works, it's not that stupid. A cheap solution to an expensive problem.

Well they wouldn't notice that (if it was even noticed at all) until the end of the movie and by then it would be to late.

It's highly probable that not all the books are wrapped this way. It's probably only a small section, so you could easily find the specific book you are looking for in another section of the store.

If you go on the radio station's webpage, they usually have a list of the songs (and the time it played at) played during that day, if not over a longer time period

In recent years, I've gotten things for when I move out, like cookware, glasses, mixing bowls, etc. Sure it's not really useful now, but when the time comes, I'll already have a bunch of necessities I won't need to buy.

I prefer torches myself, especially in cave systems. The trick is to always place them on the right wall, that way when you want to leave you keep them to your left.

The thing is, he isn't the one that went around putting the shoe on their foot, he sent some of his men to do it.
I can imagine it being very hard to find someone specific back than. Remember, he didn't have her name, photographs weren't invented yet, and they clearly didn't have a painting of her; so how else are his men supposed to fin her? Even if he gave them a description of her: blond with blue eyes can only take you so far. At least this way, they can take any girl that fits the shoe (and presumably fits a certain description) to the palace for the prince to veto.
But in the end, it's still just a fairy tale, they often times don't really make much sens.

I'm NOT at all saying the couple should have sex on the car in public, I'm saying that taking pictures of people (in general) without their consent is wrong. The couple shouldn't have done what they were, but taking pictures isn't any better; two wrongs don't make a right.
You said that if "you want privacy go somewhere private", but say you do something embarrassing in public and someone you don't know just happens to capture it on camera. They than proceed to post the picture/video on the Internet for everyone to see. Can you honestly tell me that it wouldn't bother you? Not one single bit?
So many people act like they have the right to photograph you because you are in public. The fact is, you can't stay inside the privacy of your own home all the time, you need to leave the house. People should have the decency and respect to let each other go about their day without the need to record every single thing that is odd or out of the ordinary.
But clearly that's just my opinion.

It doesn't matter if it's illegal or not, it's called basic human decency.

I agree with Pixiedust. Sure they shouldn't be doing it in public, but it isn't your right to take pictures of them. You shouldn't take (or distribute) pictures of someone unless you have their permission, no matter how "creepy and weird". It's disrespectful and rude.

What does it matter that he bought all the tickets to a showing? It's his money to spend. There are and will be other showings of the movie that people can go see.
