Seriously, am I the only one? 36 comments

For me it was just kind of integrated with growing up. Sexuality and the way babies are made were never a secret. Sex has never been a taboo subject in my household, so it made the talk unnecessary.

Discrimination against men? Sexist double standards 14 comments

Although it's not a reliable source, the basis of the story is true. Men are discriminated against when it come to children. In custody battles for example, the court is more likely to let the mother keep the children.

He's scared to love her, because he's seen how much you can be hurt by the one you truly love.

To all the annoying prank channels on YouTube 22 comments

That fine line is often crossed. The moment someone gets hurt, emotionally or physically, it's not being funny: it's being mean, if not cruel. I love a harmless prank as much as the next person does, but now a days people go to extremes to get views and recognition. How would you feel if you were chased by a "chainsaw" wielding man, or found a "corpse"?

I remember buying a bag of generic marbles that all look very similar. After a month and a lot of trading, they were all different. :)

I don't understand why schools feel that iPads are necessary. They are expensive and hardly help in a school setting.

Although I understand this is a joke, you spent that time learning how to read, how to count, as well as social skills and make your way through life. And although some time might have been spent on unimportant things, most of the knowledge you now have is thanks to those long hours. I would like to see how far you can get without an education. If you cannot see the true value of that piece of paper and that handshake, than they were wasted on you.

Pay per view doesn't work like that. It's like buying a movie ticket but in your own house. You watch it and than it's over.

That's what I was thinking. There is no way the poster could have seen that happen unless they had gotten of the bus at the same stop, which they didn't since they were going to the mall.

This really annoyed me 26 comments

This makes me so frustrated with the world! Why are they punishing her for doing what's right? We are taught in school to do something when we see a situation that's wrong, yet when something is done they hand out punishment. What does that tell us about society? I understand that the school feels the need to show that there are no exceptions to the rule, but there will always be exceptions! Sometimes you have to break the rules to do what's right. By punishing her, they are telling their students that's it's better to do nothing in the face of such a situation. (Sorry for the rant)

Although I know the process, I didn't know foil was the English term for it.
