Uhm are y'all crazy? This site might be turning into the anti-SJW niche of Tumblr, if anything. I think it's refreshing seeing a post not mocking fat people or calling gender identities mental illnesses. Much more fun I think!

OP probably had the same experience as me, when your parents treat you like a three year old well into your teens, all the while spouting crap about how you're gonna be a strong independent person. I think this comic refers to helicopter parents and not parents trying to keep their toddler out of the knife drawer.

Having one issue be greater than another doesn't negate the lesser issue. Yes, women are violently abused in Saudi Arabia, but that doesn't negate the fact that women are harassed on public transportation on a daily basis. I remember reading a few years ago about how a special needs woman was outright raped on the back of a bus and no one did a thing. Women genuinely fear to use public transportation. I think claiming harassment is "a man smiling at a woman" makes the issue seem much less worse than it is. We need to be vigilant, both at home and abroad.
