Haha I agree, you're being way too humble @metalman. My uncle does welding and whenever I watch him it seems almost effortless (because he's a professional) but the skill involved is incredible and certainly visible.

This is when portals or teleportation would come in handy but alas, I'll just have to make do with pretty pictures of bread.

I'm not sure what I'm helping you with sorry but I'm gonna guess it's about anxiety. Although it's not really excitement like you mentioned Nate, if you want to believe that it might help so that's a nice strategy. The anxiety you get via an anxiety disorder is actually when we surpass the optimal arousal level (or get too excited) and too much adrenaline is released so it's more like our body is preparing for an extreme threat, even if it's not there or even if it's really small. I can expand on that if it wasn't the answer you wanted.

No I agree, not generalising an entire generation/s (as I've seen some older people do), most of the debates I have are with older people who just don't have all the facts or believe every article they read without reading up or cross referencing other sources. Of course not everyone is like this but it's frustrating to have someone generalise all my friends and myself based off of our age, rather than get to know us cause not all of us were even lucky enough to have the technology many presume all young kiddos have.

That's what bugs me, it's just memorisation and I have a machine to do it for me at work so I can work efficiency and with less human error
