People who don't want their kids to be aware that there are people in the world who don't just like the opposite sex are just plain homophobic. If you find love "embarrassing" or "shameful" to teach then that's on you, not the school.

Rooms like this are the best, a complete blank canvas. Cover every wall in frames or paint them, put a bike in the corner (tiled floors are the easiest to clean), set up a little game corner with a nintendo so the neon lights reflect off the floor, put your plants on stools then use the stools to eat and put a table under the window. The possibilities are endless.
