It's also ridiculous cause that skin to skin contact is an extremely important step to create that bond between baby and parent, if a parent is really tight on money and doesn't want to pay for that then they have to sacrifice that important connection. It's also like, the parents baby, paying to hold your own kid is just so so stupid.

Maybe visit your GP and ask to be tested just in case. That way you can start combating the problem early on and helping yourself get out of any negative ways of thinking with a therapist, or you could start on medication if you think that's right for you.

I think it's mainly for vets so they know straight away if the dog is desexed. Sometimes medical issues can make it tricky to know, like humans the faster information is known in an emergency the better.
Edit: Female dogs also get desexed which you usually can't tell without the mark.
