i read it as “does NOT include” at first glance, which is my mistake. but that makes it even more confusing; when the hell has 7.62 and .223 EVER been pistol ammo? i get AR “pistols” and mini AKs like the Draco, but it’s essentially a rifle caliber. that basically leaves shotgun ammo and less-common calibers like .30-30.

I don’t know how true it is, but I heard A story that Hitler was so convinced they would land at Pas de Calais and that their forces in the area were enough to repel the attack that he went to a gala the night before and was so tired when he arrive back at his home that he told his guards he did not want to be disturbed for anything, and essentially slept through the larger part of the Normandy invasion.
