yeah that seems right, though i think it’s more of an understanding between the generational gap- at least in the good ones. can’t speak for Everything Everywhere All At Once, but Coco and maybe Encanto were the only good ones out of the rest, much for that reason, besides writing and character development.

eh kinda. if you both were dating before either of you were 18, Romeo and Juliet laws usually apply, so it isn’t weird, just gonna have to explain it a lot. same usually applies if one is 18 and one 17, too, in a lot of cases, depending on the municipal age of consent restrictions. only reason i know any of this was they made it a very weird sticking point in that Transformers with Mark Wahlberg and i am mildly OCD for fact checking and did a deep dive movie sucked but it was interesting to learn!
