I'm sorry, the last line of your comment really got to me. How exactly would you define "problem of the society today?". You really think that wars or soldiers come from a different time and no longer exist? Are you also trying to say that this "different kind of pain today" you talk about didn't exist earlier? Like it has been said before in the comments section "pain is pain". No one, and not even the post says that teen problems are stupid or unimportant. I request you to read the previous comments to gather what the post meant to me before I posted it.

There are two ways of spelling it. Much like "colour" and "color". We follow British English in India and that's how we spell "realise" while the American way of spelling it is the way you have.

I completely agree with your point of view. It makes me sick how people actually do that, and they wouldn't know unless they go through it themselves (though I would never wish my pain on anyone else). It's cruel, and rather than helping a person out of depression they'd probably be pushing them further down the hole.

The post does not belittle anyones pain. All it is saying is that we should try and be happy because somewhere out there is someone who, perhaps, has it much harder than us and is making every effort to move on. Mourn all you want but there's always, always a silver lining and something to be thankful for.
That's how I look at it and is the reason why I posted it :)
