Considering they're very threatened by the pet trade and this video where they look like they're in someone's home and mom is nowhere to be seen is concerning...

I found out the other day that all receipt paper goes to the landfill because of it being thermal paper/chemicals. That's so much unnecessary waste, at least they should be plain paper so they can be recycled.

So from my research what seems to be the issue is that the origins of aunt jemima stem from her being used on the syrup brand to represent a homely/nurturing image. Because of slaves that were responsible for taking care of their master's children (making breakfast, etc) while potentially not being able to take care of their own in the same way. Bottom line though who cares if they change some controversial imagery or names, it doesn't affect your life at all and obviously bothers some people so let them change it.

All the hype around this show and Joe exotic makes me really sad. He was terrible to those animals and his facility is not a good place for them. But because people liked the show they're now supporting him and thereby funding more horrible mistreatment of animals.

Not to burst anyone's bubble but those are fox cubs....they're grey when they're babies.

Cats are actually an invasive species in most places and stray/feral/outdoor cats can do real damage to native bird populations.
