Alright here's an answer to everybody:
Forget about Heath Ledger !!!! He was the joker in the adaptation of batman by Christopher Nolan.
It was Nolan's vision of batman's universe which was really unique.
Jared Leto is the Joker casted by DC in the development of their universe just like Marvel.
Don't compare them, its pointless.
Jack Nicholson was amazing for Burton's vision. Heath Ledger was incredible for Nolan's vision. Jared Leto will be different but i believe he is one of the very few actors who can be a great joker.
And before everybody starts getting angry, im just gonna say that THE DARK KNIGHT is my personnal favorite movie of all time.
